A woman tries to give a better life to her teenage son while dealing with unresolved feelings towards her ex-partner
After seeing all four short films signed by Andreea Cristina Borțun, dreamlike and at the same time profoundly realistic, I waited with a kind of latent enthusiasm for her debut in feature filmmaking. It came with Malul Vânăt, a story about growing up set on the banks of a river in southern Romania, which enjoys the involvement of Sebastian Stan as a producer.
