Daniel and the Boys in the Band by Brian E. R. Limmer

There are 2 parts to this book, the historic and the speculative. The historic cannot be denied by any reasonable research but the ‘speculative appeal’ to the world is still alive and kicking.
In Daniel’s day ‘wise men’ (for men they were), speculated on dreams and news events. Today media news never comes alone, it is always accompanied by the interpretation of ‘an expert’. Nebuchadnezzar never trusted experts and tested them by asking them to relay his dream before interpreting it. Daniel not only told him the dream, he interpreted it and wrote it down for history to judge its accuracy.
The trouble with that is, modern day prophets want to fill in the bits we are still waiting to come to pass, they have packaged them in neat doctrines and sold them on as faith. Checkout what is history and what is clearly happening in our time, but steer clear of anyone naming the Antichrist or identifying the beast with 10 horns that are yet to come.
