The annual award at the Berlinale Film Market arrives in Romania in 2026
The European Film Market at the Berlin Film Festival is one of the largest film events in the world: while critics and spectators see the films selected in the festival, an entire ecosystem of distributors, exhibitors and filmmakers in the market chooses which films will be seen by global audiences in the coming year. Year after year, the Market awards a trophy for the Best Distributor of the Year, and in 2026 this trophy goes to the Romanian distributor Bad Unicorn, co-founded by Ştefan Bradea and Monica Felea.
