There are exactly nine months and one day left until December 18, when Dune: Part Three launches in theaters simultaneously with Avengers: Doomsday (a synchronization we would say uninspired), and Warner Studios, whose employees are waiting with bated breath for the outcome of the takeover by Paramount Skydance, have released nine "character posters" promising an epic ending to the trilogy adapted by Canadian Denis Villeneuve after the first two books in Frank Herbert's Dune series.
