They may be a parody, but the Golden Raspberry Awards really draw attention to the repeated failures of Hollywood, which seems to forget far too often that the public is much smarter and more eager for something new than the "executive" of a major studio thinks. To see the confusion in the heads of these executives and how good movies seem to be made in spite of themselves rather than because of them, we recommend the excellent (and often annoying) series The Studio, starring Seth Rogen as a new studio manager completely overwhelmed by the situation while interacting with directors like Martin Scorsese and Ron Howard. who appear in their own roles.
