Gore Verbinski outlines a bleak future for the ultra-technological society
Last year we had The Electric State, which showed what could happen when humanity gets lost in a phone screen, and Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die explores pretty much the same territory, only it makes it much more inspired than the 2025 production that can boast of being, At the same time, one of the most expensive, but also the most uninspired films of the year. Of course, Noroc can't boast too much subtlety either and it's downright annoying at times, but at least it's more effective at making you meditate on where our addiction to screens pushes us.
