A Romanian director, winner of the Oscar for Best Short Film
This year's edition of the Oscars, arguably the most visible global film event, was an excitingly unpredictable one: even until the last moment the Hollywood gossip could not decide which film would win, some opting for One Battle After Another, Paul Thomas Anderson's thriller with black comedy accents, and others for Sinners, Ryan Coogler's horror musical. The gala that started at 1 o'clock, Romanian time, last night came with a winner as clear as possible.
