Actress Ana Dumitraşcu, following in the footsteps of Jeanne Moreau and Léa Seydoux in a film inspired by a "scandalous" novel
The Diary of a Chambermaid, Radu Jude's latest film, will be presented at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the Quinzaine des Cinéastes competition. The Diary of a Chambermaid is the second Romanian film announced in the festival's selection, after Fiord, the latest feature film directed by Cristian Mungiu, was announced in the race for the Palme d'Or.
