After pushing the Marvel Cinematic Universe towards horror with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Sam Raimi proposes a film in which, for more than an hour, there are only two characters on screen. Send Help! suffers from consistent similarities with the famous Triangle of Sadness, the winner of the 2022 Palme d'Or, but saves itself with twists and turns, but also with a (blunt) meditation on power games and on how quickly we can lose our humanity in a borderline situation.
