The HBO series is the litmus paper of the great fantasy hits that have frustrated in the last decade
Cinemagia was one of the few publications that wrote a downright reluctant review of The Witcher in 2019, when the film adaptation of the novels by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski seemed to delight the public, garnering tons of positive reactions and ratings of 10 on Imdb. When The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power was released, I waited an entire season to write a review, but I didn't even publish it: it was pointless in the climate so polarized by the woke ambitions of the Amazon series, which I finished with no regrets.
