Effective "jump scares" in this horror that "cracks" in the second half
The traveler is comfortable with the road, says an old saying, and here the "road", either in the literal sense, or in a broader sense approximated by a means of locomotion such as the train or the plane, brings with it a lot of attractive concepts: adventure, freedom, opportunity for knowledge and... the possibility of turning around at any time. The same is true (at least at first) with Maddie and Tyler, the heroes of Passenger, only the encounter on the road with a lethal entity turns all these attractive concepts into their nightmarish pendant.
