Although it has a problematic premise, the romantic comedy has something to captivate
The premise of One Night Only is downright forced: in the near future Americans are only allowed to have sex if they are married, and singles are only allowed to have sex for 12 hours a year. However, this premise is just a pretext to talk about how to be ourselves and not let ourselves be contaminated by the superficiality of those around us: if everyone behaves in a certain way, finding your own voice is really an asset.
